Brooks Benjamin, born in east Tennessee, graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. While in college, Brooks was an actor in the independent movie The Oak of Weeping playing the part of Robert "Moose" Wade. Since college, he has written several short and feature length scripts which have been accepted for review by several major production companies. Brooks is a self taught cinematographer and director and has written and shot several short films and commercials. In 2003 he and Jackie Barnes founded their production company, Lycan Entertainment. While filming these short movies and commercials, he was inspired to direct and shoot his first feature length film, Point of Fear.
